HRVI facilitates education conferences to provide the most recent HRV research and practice. The breadth of applications for HRV measurement across multiple disciplines are needed to improve health. Be it olympic athletes or military special operators, seeking to improve performance or physicians, pychologists, nurses, counselors wanting to improve treatment, HRV data can help predict, prevent and treat stress related illness and disease and help increase overall performance. Because of the urgency to improve treatment and performance HRVI is developing training programs for educators, practioners, and researchers .

HRVI intends to use donations to assist HRV researchers in grant writing and grant administration. HRVI will support proposals that are important to HRV's advancement in prediction, prevention and treatment outcome measurement. Moreover, proposals that further HRVs use in the military and sports and athletics will be supported.
